April 4-Pack: White!
Hayman Hill, Interchange, Santa Barbara County, CA, 2007
A blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc; 35% Chardonnay; 20% Muscat Canelli & 5% Riesling makes this wine versatile, heavier than a crisp sauv blanc, but lighter and crisper than a straight chardonnay. Bright citrus and mineral acidity give the wine a fresh, clean backbone; a rich and smooth palate rounds out the tropical fruit characteristics. Serve with heartier fish such as poached Salmon or more delicate meat dishes like grilled pork chops.
Gabbiano, Pinot Grigio della Venezie, Italy, 2008 This classic Pinot Grigio has aromas of lemon and green apple with floral notes and hints of pear & honeydew melon. It bears a lovely sunny straw-yellow color, and the palate follows through on the complex blend of aromas with flavors of green apple, orange and faint lemon. The mouth feel is lively and full in structure created by the excellent harmony of fruit and acid

Palazone, Dubini Bianco, Umbria, Italy, 2009
Bon Ton, Vin Blanc, Cotes De Gascogne, France, 2007 This Côtes-du-Gascogne Blanc consists of a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Rolle and Gros Menseng, latter two native grapes from that region. Bon Ton Blanc is bright and fresh with aromas of fresh grapefruit, limes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel to capture the fresh aromas and flavors of the three varietals. This delicious French white captures the essence of the south of France.
Casa Do Valle, Vinho Verde, Portugal, 2005 Produced exclusively with white grapes produced in Casa do Valles property, this dry white wine presents a bright, pale straw colour, a citric and tropical fruits aroma. Its a very fresh and elegant wine with a long and appealing finish. Enjoy with Sushi, white meats or on its own.
Castelvero, Cortese, Piemonte, Italy, 2006 This white wine is made of Cortese grapes grown in the Monferrato hills in Piemonte. Cortese is light green in color and has an aroma of ripe grapefruit and a medium bodied citrus flavored palate with mineral notes. Enjoy with with fish, white meats or its own.

Veramonte, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile, 2006
Veramonte is located in the remote Casablanca Valley alongside Chiles rugged Pacific Coast. The wild Patagonia lies to our south and the mighty Andes Mountains rise behind us in the east. Deep flavors of black cherry, blueberry and blackberry fruits highlighted with earthy notes and elegant oak that lend a creamy mouth feel. Plush with soft, rich tannins, this wine is concentrated, round and luxurious with a long finish
Ugarte, Cosecha, Tempranillo, Rioja, Spain, 2005 Made from 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha. Cosecha is aged 6 months in oak and then 4 months in bottle before release. Dark cherry red, with fruity aromas and a polished, full mouth feel. Six months aging in oak gives the palate hints of vanilla and toast.
Monte Oton, Garnacha, Spain, 2006 Monte Oton is situated high on the windswept slopes of the extinct volcano Moncaya. This sundrenched location is ideal for harvesting perfectly matured Garnacha grapes. The resulting wine is full bodied, elegantly textured and exhibits a long finish.
Diseno, Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina, 2006 Diseño Malbec has deep purple color with crimson luster. The bouquet of lilac and cherry blossom unfolds to a hint of tobacco. The explosive flavors of earthy blueberry and rich chocolate are fleshy yet robust with well balanced acidity - quintessential Malbec from Mendoza.
Gladiator, Syrah, Central Coast, California, 2006
This is a blend of Monterey and Paso Robles Syrah. The Monterey grapes are grown in a cool climate making the wine intense with plum and pepper flavors marked with a solid acidity. The Paso Robles syrah is jammy with soft tannins and acids. So the combination of cool/warm climates produces a wine that is layered with all of the best flavors that California's Central Coast has to offer.
Bon Ton Red, Syrah-Grenache, Costieres De Nimes, France, 2006 Bon Ton Rouge is a full and smooth blend of Grenache and Syrah from the sun drenched Costieres de Nimes region. It is has flavors of black cherries intermingled with a smoky and peppery finish.
